For those of you that don’t know, warts are little growths at can appear on the skin. Usually they don’t provide any pain, unless on very sensitive areas of the body. These areas include the soles of the feet as well as the male as well as female genital regions. These areas can cause immense pain due to constant rubbing of the infection site. Warts can be itchy, but usually those that have them don’t report any sort of burning sensation or other feelings from the infection site.

As of right now there are five main categories of warts that humans can get infected by. The first are common warts which are those that appear on the hands. Next are flat warts which are more prone to attack the forehead and the face. Genital warts are in the region they specify in the name and they can also spread in between the thighs. Plantar warts are often called foot warts because they typically appear on the soles of the feet. Periungual or subungual warts are those that appear around the nails, such as those of the fingers and toes.
