Plus-Size Models: Do They Really Cause Obesity?

So have we finally found a root cause of the obesity epidemic: those darn plus-size (dress size of 8 or higher) models? A study has spawned headlines such as “Study Claims Plus Size Models Will Cause Obesity.” Should we now wage war against plus-sized models and build armies of waif-like models as a counter-strike? Well…as a Meat Loaf song once said, “Stop right there.” Before you jump to conclusions (which does not count as proper physical activity), let’s look closer at the study and the evidence.
