How Can You Lower Your Risk Of Breast Cancer

When it comes to our health, we want to do everything we can to keep it in the good spectrum. For breast health, this means the usual breast exam and checking with your doctor if you feel anything unusual. But, the less spoken little things you can do to keep your breasts healthy are just as important. Getting a good night’s sleep is a great place to start. Those who tend to stay up late into the night tend to have a great exposure to unnatural light. This is usually caused by a smart phone or computer. Having this excess exposure can suppress your melatonin levels. The melatonin in the female body helps to regulate the estrogen level in the body. If you produce too much estrogen you are at a great risk for getting breast cancer. So turn in at reasonable hours to avoid this problem.

You want to ensure that you are getting enough folic acid in your body. A deficiency folds into your body being unable to repair damaged DNA. This damaged DNA has been linked to cancer. So opt for foods like spinach, cereals, and grains to get your daily fill. You may also want to take some herbal growth pills everyday to help supplement the difference if you can’t ingest the necessary amount. Aim for about four hundred micrograms each and everyday.

Psychological factors are coming more and more into play when it comes to health studies and their link to negative concerns. People who are too stressed turn to problems like overeating or drinking an excess of alcohol. These two factors in turn lead to more cancer risky problems in the body. So just stop that problem at the source and be able to control your stress. If you need to schedule a time in your day where you just take deep breaths, watch your favorite show, do a hobby, or pretty much anything alike that will calm you down for a good hour or more.
